From September 25th to October 10th, many step into Pitru Paksha a 16 day period dedicated entirely to ancestral remembrance and nourishing their soul. You don’t have to make these rice balls (Pindas) every single day. Offering them even once or twice is enough. However, I would recommend offering fresh water mixed with a pinch of black sesame seeds and light a candle or diya could be a great way to connect with them and bring them warmth and love. Rice: to nourish their souls. Black Sesame: for clearing and absorbing heavy, lingering karmic energy. Ghee: for peace and offers a smooth, gentle path for their journey.
