There is no where solar power electricity is connected to kplc when there is a changeover switch Then there will be a double wiring is double wiring , Kplc is owned the richest people in Kenya who are also in the government getting hundreds of billions in in kplc shares.Kenyans are on the equator and so can get lower power from solar . KPLC will close down when Batteries,monitors and solar electrical cables will go down to the drain .Kplc are not connected solar .

we don't need permission to put solar from kenya power...if that is the case kenya power should be liable for the sun...they have to prove they own sun..the source of power.. lawyers will shred there nonsense to peaces . EPRA has nothing to do with solar power

They should ask those who have connected their solar to the grid. People who connect solar are electrical engineers or electrical installations. But wapende wasipende Kenyans are moving to solar lighting and power. Why should they force Kenyans to connect KPLC? Kenyans should move to solar panels because bills of KPLC are unmanageable. On the other hand, why should Kenyans have an agreement with KPLC yet they bought solar using their money. Suppose a Kenyan doesn't want to connect to KPLC why force them? That is very wrong.

Even if you are having negativity about kplc you should understand that if there is any surplus electricity which is produced by the solar system it can be fed back to the grid.Go and read and understand about islanding in power system before u talk about kplc.
