I last made REAL friends in highschool. I was never comfortable with making friends with people at adulthood. Even in university i knew the “friend” i made were never my friends. We knew eachother from what we presented to eachother. The friends i had early we grew up together. We can go a month without taking but we know eachOther from teenage to adulthood. That makes me more comfortable with them

This is really sad honestly. I remember this year I went all out for my friends on their birthdays to an extent of taking a day off to celebrate them, but on mine I was all alone 😔

I cried all day, thinking about how good and loyal I have been to people, yet when I go through hardships, I find myself facing everything alone. The very people I have been there for, who know how much I care and how I always show up for them, are nowhere to be found when I need them the most. They ignore me when I'm going through hell, only to remember my existence when they need something from me. Yhoo, it really hurts to realise that the same people you would go above and beyond for can leave you to deal with your struggles on your own. 💔

Thats my argument. We had a conversation about it with my man the other day. He told me he's aware that i cut people off without even thinking twice or giving them a second chance. I told him its because I don't expect a grown up to do to me something I will never do to them, its inhumane and they know exactly what they are doing and I will not be anyone's playground end of story
