@ladyspinedoc: A women’s baseball team named after a woman who broke barriers in medicine? You know I love this. The Boston Hunters honor Dr. Harriot Hunt, one of America’s earliest women physicians. Denied admission to Harvard because she was a woman, she still built a career caring for patients. Their osprey logo also celebrates New England’s coastal hunter - a symbol of focus and determination. As a woman in neurosurgery, this connection hits home. Different fields, shared courage to pursue a place women were once denied. Here’s to the women who opened doors and the next generation stepping through them. 💪 #womenssports #womenempowerment #womeninmedicine
