@7.news.watertown: The Watertown City School District is receiving $10.6 million from FEMA and $1.7 million from New York state to repair damage from Tropical Storm Debby and help prevent future flooding. The 2024 storm left inches of water inside Watertown High School, including the gym floor. The funding includes $2.9 million to replace the high school track, repairs across the school’s lower level and at North Elementary, and redesigned parking lots with underground water tanks to direct storm drainage away from school buildings. 📰: https://www.wwnytv.com/2026/09/30/watertown-school-district-gets-millions-flood-repairs/  #FloodRepairs #FEMA #SchoolFlooding #WatertownNY #NewYorkSchools
