What did Islam borrowed from Eastern orthodoxy ? Can you give an example, please ? That's impossible since the big schisme between Orthodoxy and Catholicism took place in 1054. By that time, Islam was ruling the world from China to Septimania in France. I believe it’s less of what the church is doing and more about what the parents have not done. People think rebellion is experience. So they rebal with conversion. No different than rebelling with sin. If a child had a bad upbringing, they will become the opposite of what their parents have done. They see Islam as more moral. Bc when you’ve been hurt different is good. Religion is based on teaching how to participate within covenant. And so we need to divide Islam from cultural gender segregation. If a religion is not progressive with morality, it becomes sinful.
