@spiritualunderstandings: “Does prayer work?” What is prayer? Prayer is often understood as asking. Asking for healing. Asking for protection. Asking for guidance. Asking for strength. Asking that something change in our lives or in the lives of others. But prayer, in its deeper sense, may be far more than words spoken toward the heavens. Prayer is intention made conscious. It is the deliberate turning of the mind, heart, emotion, and will toward something we consider sacred, meaningful, or greater than ourselves. The words are only the vessel. The deeper substance is the intention behind the words. When you pray for healing, your consciousness turns toward healing. When you pray for wisdom, you begin directing your awareness toward wisdom. When you pray for strength, you are acknowledging the need for strength and opening yourself to discovering it. What does prayer mean to you? Source: YouTube | Rev. jalestjohn :

Church folks will not accept this truth. They just believe that the church, pastor's will come from the sky and rapture them up. We've already witnessed the amount of people from all over the world that sold all of their stuff, gave away all of their money to complete strangers etc when someone from social media told them that the rapture was coming on such & such date. They doomed all that stayed behind but yet packed a suitcase
