You cannot assume "water" signifies love and giving too much to a plant drowns the plant and then conclude too much "love" is violence. Love is more than just a material, perhaps more than just a thing or maybe an undescribable something that cannot be objectively described. Give the plant not just water, but perfect amount of water, sunlight, soil, and others, yet is that love? No, that is called optimization, love is beyond.

You just don't understand how much water the plant should take. Love is not violence, but too much of it could mirror one. . For the second poem, I am not so sure. But, I think that it blurs the line between instinct and desire because biting requires closeness to something, which is described as touch.
