Low key genius. Making OEM headunits to retrofit CarPlay into old Porsche’s adds value to the vehicle and instills loyalty! I wish Mercedes did this but they use new tech push us into new cars. Not upgrade the tech of prior models. I’d literally pay $5k for a Mercedes built plug and play CarPlay headunit to replace the Harmon Kardon in my 2009 SL. GOOD POST! 😌

something like 70% of Porsches are still on the road and I feel like things like this really build loyalty to the brand and to the products. great way for Porsche to make money on all these old cars that people WILL be keeping as well

I have the PCCM+ in my 986 Boxster. The install was rough and it was expensive for sure but it’s so nice. It makes it so much easier to live with after the hands free laws
