Amen sister! So many do not understand that the testament didn’t start until the death of the testator. So yes, the words that Jesus spoke in his earthly ministry matter, but he was speaking to people who think they were doing it right and trying to show them that they were not things changed after the cross. Oh good Lord. thats not true young lady. Matthew was not written to "a Jewish audience". Christ was presenting the perimeters of the new covenant under His Kingship to all that believe. If you dont forgive others their trespasses Neither will He forgive you. That includes forgiving yourself. Period. Quit listening to false teachers and start listening to Gods Word.

"Jew" and "Jewish" has a 2 fold meaning. It either means of the tribe of Judah or a resident of the land of Judea. You can be Chinese but if you lived in the land of Judea you were called a "Jew". Just as those that live in America. If you're a legal citizen of America you're called an American regardless of your nationality. My family is from Ireland. I'm Irish by blood, but I'm a natural born citizen of the USA therefore I'm an American. You must understand that or you're never going to understand God's Word "in context".
