@backwardshatbarrister: If you stopped working because of your health but you’re receiving workers’ compensation, VA disability, long-term disability, or another monthly benefit, don’t assume you can wait forever to file for Social Security Disability. Your SSDI insured status can eventually expire, and then you may have to prove you were disabled years ago, before your Date Last Insured. That can be much harder when doctors change, treatment records are missing, or your strongest medical evidence came later. If you’re out of work because of a disability, find out where you stand before waiting costs you options. #SSDI #SocialSecurityDisability #DisabilityBenefits #WorkersComp #VADisability
