@colezesiger: Over the past four years I have talked with over 2300 people going through breakups. I have seen a lot of people reunite and make their relationships work and I have seen a lot of people move on. For the couples who worked out, the ex tended to go through these two emotions: 1️⃣ They had a fear of losing their partner. As they spent time away from them they realized that their life wasn’t as full as it used to be. As time went on they began to fear that they wouldn’t be able to get back together even if they wanted to. 😮 This led to them reaching out. 2️⃣ They felt pain. They had to deal with the loneliness of the breakup too. If you were the one broken up with it can feel like you are the only one in pain, but you’re not. They feel it too. Many times that pain can lead to them reaching out to you to check on how you have been doing. 📲 If you go no contact, you aren’t creating fear or pain. You’re no longer chasing, reassuring, bargaining, monitoring, or trying to manage their feelings. They actually experience the breakup they chose. This maximizes their chance of reaching out to you. ✅ No Contact stops you from interfering with whatever your ex is naturally going to experience. Every breakup is unique though, so I wrote a book to help you through! I linked it in the video for you to check out!

apparently you forgot the third reason which is they screwed themselves thoroughly financially everything else like that and then they feel like you're the backup option
