My 90-year old grandmother still does her monthly exams. Found a lump earlier this year, and when she went to get it checked, they tried to tell her they don’t do mammograms for women over 70. She’s a stubborn broad and made them do it anyway. Good thing, since it was malignant.

Thank you for this. Ladies you know what you have to do!! Almost 7 years ago I found my lump and it ended up being stage 3b. 5 surgeries later, chemo and radiation. I am happy to say, I am still NED(No evidence of disease), At least for breast cancer💕

Have to schedule mine...thanks for the reminder! Also, for those who may need it, would you consider a video tutorial on how to actually do self breast exams? Many women have never been taught or just handed a pamphlet.

my mom's last mammogram came back with something. She went back and got a biopsy and it was found that she has invasive ductal carsinoma which is in her breast and a lymph node....

thanks I'm over due and need to schedule an appointment. I don't want mine but while they are still there.... I'll do the squish. I found out I dont need a referral here I can just make it happen so even easier! my mom is a survivor so my risk factor is yeah.
