This & I hate taking hints and trying to read body language too. I’m self aware, but I’m not going to keep trying to read someone when they could just tell me how they feel. I’d rather you communicate with me than act like nothing is happening. Communication really isn’t that hard, but some people struggle with it because they aren’t ready to have uncomfortable conversations or deal with certain emotions. I won’t push you to talk before you’re ready, but I also won’t keep trying to read you. Just tell me how you feel.

One of my friends does this, and I was so annoyed at first because she always communicated through social media notes. I was like, “What is her problem?” because she kept hurting herself like this when I was always ready to be there for her. Then one day, I went to her house and we had a talk. I honestly felt regretful for thinking that way about her before. She has CPTSD and has been having a really hard time because of what she went through during her childhood. Her mom always neglected her and physically and mentally abused her. She felt like no one could communicate with her, and she always felt alone, like nobody loved or cared about her. That’s why she always communicates through her notes.
