Where I live we had temporary traffic lights up for so long that when it hit the one year anniversary someone tied balloons to them 😅

Also, if there’s periods of the year where the roads are generally quieter (like the 6 weeks holidays) wait until they’ve finished to start the roadworks

My working theory is that there isn’t actually anywhere to store traffic cones & signs so they just put them back out in another random location 🤷🏻♀️

Don’t forget to make sure every single alternative route in that area has roadworks on at the same time with temporary traffic lights that don’t change - OH and sign advising that it’s for a week only - to then remain untouched for over a month! OH and hire the cheapest contractors to do shitty repairs on potholes despite them being reported 362923757492 times😂😂
