why don't you just fix the leak? you're using toilet bowl cleaner and do you realize the toilet bowl cleaner has acid in it that's why it's making that dark stain turn white and it will eat away at your drain pipe to your sink and will cost you more money in the long run than it would be just to fix the leak. so if you think your little hack is going to get you millions of views and you're going to go viral I'm sorry but I'm telling you the honest truth you're just going to wreck your drain pipe doing that. I know because I am an environmental specialist and I use chemicals all the time. read the bottle

It does take everything off including the finish eventually you till have an actual rust spot the will eat through the finish. Just fix the faucet

If you replace your drain stopper/sink plug with a stainless steel one. This rust stain won’t happen at all 😅
