@blackatlaschronicles: In honour of Black History Month, The Black Atlas Chronicles will be sharing stories throughout October celebrating Black lives, achievements and contributions that helped shape Britain. ✊🏿 If your Black British history starts in 1948, you’re missing centuries of stories. 🇬🇧✊🏿 Long before Windrush, Black people were living, working and shaping history in Britain. Their stories belong in our classrooms, our conversations and our understanding of this country. Windrush was a defining chapter. But it wasn’t the first page. 📖 Which Black British historical figure deserves more recognition? 👇🏿 Follow The Black Atlas Chronicles for more stories you weren’t taught. #BlackBritishHistory #BlackHistoryMonth #BritishHistory #BeforeWindrush #BlackHistory
