I had people trying to argue with me that my kids aren't gen z because I'm millennial. "millennials are SIBLINGS of Gen z, not parents!!!" like I don't know when my own birthday & kids birthdays are 🤣

To avoid confusion, I feel like we should go back to identifying ourselves and each generation as the decade we were born in. Like yes, my parents are Gen X too & I’m a millennial and my siblings are Gen Z and Gen Alpha. But when I say my parents were 70’s kids and I was a 90’s kid, it makes more sense.
