As part of this series, i’m comparing my homemade biscuits to shop bought and comparing on the following factors: dunkability, taste, appearance and crunch🤪 recipe listed below Ingrediants 50g Salted Butter 90g Caster Sugar x1 Egg Yolk Half a Tsp of Vanilla Extract 140g Plain Flour 100g Raspberry Jam 1. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the sugar and softened butter. 2. Add in your egg yolk and vanilla extract and mix well using a wooden spoon or spatula. 3. Add the flour and crumble between your fingers, the mixture should be slightly wet and should clump together. 4. Spread out the combined dough on a floured surface and roll out. 5. Stamp with the cutter and add to a lined baking tray. 6. With half of the biscuits, stamp out the centre. 7. Refigerate all of the biscuits for 30 minutes to help them combine. 8. Bake at 170 degrees on fan for 10 minutes and leave to cool. 9. Once cooled, spread with jam and leave to set in the fridge for an hour. #homemade #jammy #dodger #biscuit #Recipe
