Yeah so basically, the moon wouldn’t directly crash into the Earth because at some point it would cross a thing called “the Roche limit”. Basically the tidal forces exerted would be too great, resulting in the moon exploding apart. One cool fact would be either the remnants of the moon would create a ring system like Saturn, or it would create another moon. Not that we’d see it though, cos we’d be dead lol
