I’m 705 union and we have a separate contract then the national one. When they bid a route, it has to say training route and that is only for 1 calendar year. Since you’ve been on your route for 6 years, I can’t see how they can do that. Talk to a steward or go above his head. That’s unacceptable

companies do not care anymore about there employees, we are all numbers on a spreadsheet. was with an electric contractor from the very start. it was only 6 people including myself, then over the yrs we grew bigger, and bigger till the whole goal was $,$,$....! heads got swollen. so I was nothing to them.

One good thing the driver that is on it will make you look like a genius !!! Every time I was on vacation the cover drivers made my customers appreciate me more 😂

Fish bones are easily digested . Don’t bid a training route if you don’t want bumped . You should had the right to bid vacation coverage .

As a retired feeder driver and shop steward…..it’s not your route….as harsh as that seems, you are not an owner operator. The route belongs to United Parcel Service……be safe!
