Was ALL of your hair virgin? Colour doesn’t lift colour so if you had previous colour she would have to strip it out first before putting the lighter colour on.

scary bc ur roots are hot rooted and now that’s gonna be a problem for later you once the dye fades, cause it wasn’t lifted evenly. She can put a darker root on you but it absolutely will fade leaving a band in your hair, sincerely a stylist.

Hairstylist here, bleach exposes the underlying tones in your hair. Black has red, brown has orange, light brown is yellow, and platinums are super light yellow almost white. That color is a good sign if you’re just going lighter but not blonde :))
