I chase her in my dreams every night. Sometimes I’ll find her but whenever I do, she’s gone like that. Then I wake up repeating the same thing over and over again when she was my bestfriend, safe place, and home. I just, what’s my purpose. I know they say time heals all but I don’t want that, I want it back. I didn’t want to give up on us but she chose differently. I just wonder why you ended it the way you did. Was I not enough? She ended up getting with someone else after a week and a half of us “ taking a break “. Felt like I knew her for years but that was the best year and a half of my life. I always do this. It was still never enough. I think when you love a man too much , they will hate you and look for another woman they are challenged and chase.
