hello! I was just wondering if you had any tips and tricks on how to get started into the art of stained glass? my father learned as a young teenager how to do stained glass from my grandfather, snd growing up they worked together restoring windows in churches. my dad got back into it after my grandfather died and it became his passion again. he tried teaching me about 15 years ago, and the project we once started never got finished because life got in the way. he passed away 4 years ago, and i just never got to learn. I've been thinking about trying to teach myself but I just don't know where to start. when my father died, my step mother literally threw most of his things in the garbage, sheets of glass, working materials, everything that came along with it. she even sold his kiln that was supposed to come to me, so I would be starting off with nothing. any insight would be greatly appreciated. thank you for your time.
