1. How effing rude of them. 2. “I have thought I should […] make myself more beautiful.” - that right there is the unhealthy influence of society. Wearing tight clothing or dressing more feminine doesn’t inherently make a person more beautiful. What’s important is what you feel beautiful in, what makes you comfortable. I think your style is incredibly beautiful, and indeed I find the androgynous look attractive in general (not that my opinion on your style matters). Keep wearing what’s comfortable and beautiful to you. That’s all that matters.
