@meatlicious_: Creamy Caramelized Onion Chicken Pasta 🧅🍝 Ingredients: 1½ lb chicken breasts 10 oz spaghetti 2 yellow onions, thinly sliced 5 garlic cloves, minced 2 tbsp butter 3 tbsp olive oil, divided 1 tbsp flour 1 cup heavy cream ½ cup chicken stock 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan ½ cup reserved pasta water ½ lemon Fresh parsley Garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt & pepper Red pepper flakes, to taste 1 tbsp chili oil (optional) Directions: 1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder & paprika. Sear in 1 tbsp oil until golden and 165°F, then rest and slice. 2. Cook pasta until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining. 3. In the same skillet, add butter + remaining oil. Add onions and a pinch of salt. Cook over medium-low for 20–25 min until deeply caramelized. 4. Add garlic + red pepper flakes; cook 30 sec. Stir in flour, then chicken stock, Worcestershire & heavy cream. Simmer until slightly thickened. 5. Reduce heat to low and stir in Parmesan. Add pasta and enough reserved pasta water to make the sauce creamy and glossy. 6. Finish with lemon juice, parsley and optional chili oil.
