Watch it young buck. The skeletal structure for a large Goliath Grouper cannot support its weight out of the water. Main reason you walk the pier or bridge and land them in the water. Photo of you in the water with him is a lot cooler than him bent over your shoulder then taking a high dive off the pier.

It's a complicated situation. Not supposed tu take them out of the water because their own weight can crush it's organs. But cutting the line from so high would leave too long of a slack that can get tangled and kill it eventually. Not sure how the rules can apply of he threw it back from 30 feet up! Double edged sword!
