@calmatters: Join us tomorrow at 5 p.m. in Lynwood at Bateman Hall (11331 Ernestine Ave, Lynwood, CA 90262) with SELA Collaborative and CALÓ News to learn about the candidates and propositions on your ballot. We’ll be providing food. Next week, we’ll bring our VotingMatters series to the Bay Area and host voter education events in Watsonville, Aptos, San Jose, San Francisco, Vallejo and Fairfield. You can find all of our VotingMatters events at cal.news/votingmatters2026 VotingMatters is an issue-focused series of in-person events we produce across the state with on-the-ground partners, including local news orgs, colleges, libraries, churches and nonprofit organizations. Together, we host nonpartisan, issue-focused civil discussions about voting, policy and issues that matter to Californians. To get more information about how to host your own, click on the link in the bio of @Dan from CalMatters or email us at [email protected]. We hope to talk with you and hear from you at one of our events this fall! #California #Vote #election
