I read the book about her many many years ago not long after her trial ended, and even then I remember thinking hmmm I mean I kinda get it. She was not a typical “serial killer” looking for vulnerable innocent victims like a Ted Bundy or BTK, etc.

The warden quit his job after her death. He did not think that she deserved to die. If you get a chance to watch the documentary with him in it, he’s a beautiful person. He only stayed until she passed, so that she wouldn’t feel alone.
