@techniahqrobot: Robot fighting went wrong fast. Two humanoid robots step into the ring in front of a packed crowd. One moves in aggressively, tries to close the distance, then loses balance and drops to the floor. The other robot stays upright while its opponent struggles on the ground. The clip lasts only a few seconds, but it shows how difficult robot combat becomes when speed, balance, contact, and recovery all happen at the same time. A humanoid can look stable while walking or throwing a planned strike. Fighting adds a moving opponent. Every hit, push, missed step, and collision changes the robot’s center of mass within a fraction of a second. The legs have to react while the arms are moving and external forces are pushing the body away from its planned trajectory. My first thought watching this was how quickly one bad step ended the exchange. The robot went from attacking to being on the floor in about a second. Robot fights are entertaining, but they also expose balance control, fall recovery, joint coordination, and whole-body control under physical contact. Would you watch a full humanoid robot fighting league? #HumanoidRobots #Robotics #RobotFighting #PhysicalAI #EmbodiedAI
