@alyssabuss32: Domestic Violence Awareness Month 💜 You never truly know what someone is going through behind closed doors. Sometimes the people who seem the happiest are carrying things they never speak about. I know what it feels like to lose yourself in a situation you never thought you’d be in. I know what it feels like to be scared, to feel alone, and to wonder if life will ever feel like yours again. Today, I’m incredibly grateful that God brought me through what I went through and gave me another chance at life. He saved me, carried me through some of my darkest moments, and brought me to a place I never thought I’d be. I’m proud of the person I’ve become, and I’ll always be grateful that I found the strength to choose myself and keep going. If you’re silently going through something, please know that you are not alone. You deserve to feel safe. You deserve to be loved without fear. And there is a life beyond what you’re experiencing right now. This month, I’m remembering where I’ve been, honoring how far I’ve come, and using my voice for the person I used to be. #imasurvivor #domesticabuseawareness
