@mamadouwone1: Allahu akbar kabira (اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ كَبِيرًا) is part of a well-known Islamic invocation of praise and remembrance (dhikr) often recited at the opening of the formal daily prayer (Salah) after the initial Takbir, or during other times of gratitude. [1, 2, 3] Complete Phrase and Meaning The full traditional invocation is: Arabic: « اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ كَبِيرًا، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ كَثِيرًا، وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا » Transliteration: Allahu akbaru kabira, wal-hamdu lillahi kathira, wa subhan-Allahi bukratan wa asila Translation: "Allah is truly the greatest; abundant praise is for Allah; and Glory be to Allah, morning and evening." [1, 2, 3] Context and Usage Opening Supplication: It is frequently used as a Dua Al Istiftah (opening supplication) in prayer, based on authentic prophetic traditions (Hadith) where a companion recited it and the Prophet Muhammad expressed great approval of it. [1, 2] Spiritual Significance: The phrase emphasizes absolute majesty (Kabira meaning "great/grand"), continuous gratitude (Kathira meaning "abundant/much"), and ongoing exaltation of God through the passing of the day and night. #religion #islam #Alhamdoulillah #doua #allah
