@adivunsolicited: Replying to @Tourist fashion (Tim) What is propaganda, and how do you know when you're being fed it? Media literacy is something that’s important to be able to spot it Every country uses it, and America and Israel are two of the best at it. Americans are raised to believe America is the center of the earth. Israel has leaned on narrative to justify itself since 1948. Most of us have been force-fed it for years without noticing. The flydubai flight is a good case study: ✈️ Flydubai says its crew secured the plane. Netanyahu says passengers did. The plumber says he pulled up and a pilot took over. 🚪 The cockpit door story changed: first passengers "broke in," then the captain unlocked it, then it "wasn't locked." 🕵️ The co-pilot is still unnamed, and Israeli outlets can't agree on who was flying. When versions keep changing and the details don't line up, that's a signal to slow down and ask who benefits from the story, who told it first, and what we've actually verified. Questioning a government's story isn't hate. And it’s definitely not antisemitism It's media literacy. #propaganda #medialiteracy #flydubai #aviation #israel

And one point I forgot, I literally fly 2-3x a month all year there is never a scenario where every single screen on the plane is black and off. Nothing about this makes sense and I’m just pointing out the irregularities and holes in this story
