Appalling. I use opnsense and Unbound DNS with block lists to kill most of this traffic at least whilst I am at home.

Google only allows their approved extensions that limit advertising blocking, so to do this adblock has to read all you googley inputs. It's also why UBlock origin has been taken out of there extensions, Firefox still has it though
