I went on vacation and came back and she was on hospice, 3 days later, she passed holding my hand it was my first one. I cried 😢

I’m a house keeper at nursing home and work on the memory care unit. A few months 4 of my FAVORITE residents passed away all in one week due to a weird virus going around. I’m still recovering from it 😭😭

yes this happened to me in July when I was on my vacation birthday week, 2 of my patients passed, one was 102 and the other was in her mid 80s, they was both on hospice, so I expected it, but not coming back from my vacation, 😭🪽🪽🙏🏾🙏🏾sweet angels, rip ♥️

Mannnnnn when I worked Friday night and it was my weekend off, I said goodbye to my favorite girl and we would see each other Monday night when I came back…. She passed Sunday the day before.

it happened while I was at work. when we all gathered in the lobby to send them off, not a dry eye in the building. 😭 this was a resident that came out of their room to inform me that they watched 50 shades of gray and explained that there was way too much sex, with a very religious roommate in their room.
