You should have report to the provost unit of your command. That's why they are called police unit. I think you violated the protocol that governs your agency. Remember you are not civilian you're regimented officer.

Hope you get justice but most of these public officials treat Nigerians with disrespect, scorn and disfain in their official capacities but when they are failed by the corrupt systems they helped erect, the run back to the same Nigerian people for justice. The whole issue started due to corruption.

As much as I pitied your condition as stated, I am not sure you understand your service disciplinary procedures and the code of conduct of immigration and public service cos you have breached your service disciplinary procedures and the code of conducts. And indeed you erred in breaching the code of conduct of your service and you are still committing the same breach by coming to the social media. You are an immigration senior officer & you quoting police act, be informed that you are going to be tried with both immigration and public service Act and not with police Act. However, I have the following questions for the officer; 1. Are there no other officers around when the argument with the senior officers escalated to physical assault?. 2. Who took him to the immigration clinic, 3. Are there no very senior officers around on the said day of the incident . 4. Why is it that the immigration clinic did not refer him to the specialist hospital 5. Has he no friends or colleagues that can take him to the military hospital why civilians…6. What does he meant when he said immigration service abandoned him. 7. Are you trained to report incident that happened in your office to the police or to your most superior. The officer that assaulted him is bound to face severe consequences after due trial from immigration service.
