@jeremystoomuch: š This is why sometimes we need to leave hair education to hairstylists or at least people who have actually gone to hair school and tested more than one tool. As somebody who owns and has tested the expensive blow dry brushes AND the cheap ones, Iām telling you the whole āunregulated heatā thing is not the reason peopleās hair is breaking off. Most of these brushes do not have some magical temperature dial where you pick an exact degree. You usually get low, medium, high and cool if youāre lucky lol. The damage conversation is way more about using too much tension, starting on hair that is way too wet and repeatedly going over the same section until you have basically cooked and stretched the life out of it. So no, Iām not demonizing the affordable brush when the expensive one is using the same basic concept. Technique matters girls. And if you already own this brush and want to know how to use it without wrecking your hair, obviously you know where to find me š Iāll be posting some tips tomorrow since apparently we need a little blow dry brush refresher lol. #hairstylist #haircare #blowdrybrush Revlon One Step, Revlon One Step blow dry brush, blow dry brush damage, blow dryer brush hair damage, how to use Revlon One Step, Revlon brush tutorial, blow dry brush tutorial, how to prevent hair breakage, healthy hair tips, heat damage hair, hair breakage prevention, hairstylist hair tips, blowout brush tutorial, blowout brush damage, wet hair breakage, hair tension damage, affordable hair tools, Revlon blow dryer brush, how to use a blow dryer brush safely, healthy blowout tips

I've been using it for years. I rough dry my hair first, use heat, protectant, and work in small sections. I have the healthiest hair out of everyone in my life.

I would die without my Revlon. I donāt know how people manage to lose hair with it. I have crazy thick curly hair and the Revlon has made it so my flat iron collects dust

Thatās called mechanical damage. Rough dry is imperative. In all blow dry methods. Period. Full stop. Blow dry brush or not. No one should be picking up a brush until that hair is about 80% dry!!!!!

Iām a hairdresser and the damage Iāve witnessed is crazy. It should be used as a heat tool such a straightener/ curling iron, not as a blowdryer.

Oh my God, thank you so much. Iāve literally been trying to explain to people that you need to dry your hair until itās pretty much 80% dry before you start twisting and twirling thatās whatās breaking your hair off. Itās not heat damage. Heat damage looks very different. Itās breakage.

The shark one says you use the brush once your hair is 80% dry (which people never wait for) and most people arenāt using a proper heat protectant. My hair is healthy and i use the shark one š¤·āāļøif anything i have less breakage and heat damage than i did before and once i showed my friend how to use it (she was using it wrong and her hair was so thin at the ends) her hair is doing great too

I only use the brush after my hair is 80 to 95% dry it helps with the breakage
