I think it was a nurse shark. I saw a similar scene in Belize. We were diving with nurse sharks and our guides brought conchs for them to slurp out of the shell and eat.

I used to dive alone at night in paradise cove Malibu. Many times after midnight! It was always a wonderful experience! 🥰I miss the eighties and nineties!

They've voluntarily left their shells for a dance near the Blue Lagoon Reef. They stagger home around 5 am, usually, provided there isn't a walk of shame involved.
