The veins blew or the needle was not correctly placed. It happened to me with anesthesia, requiring that an anesthesiologist take over from the nurse anesthetist.

I’m not sure that lethal injection is conducive to the Hippocratic oath so I’d be surprised if actual doctors were involved but I’m no expert on this so would love to be corrected by someone who knows.

Why not just use an io for difficult iv’s there’s no chance of infiltration and proximal tibia io are easy to do.
