For everyone saying that albino raccoons have diminished eyesight, while that may be true, all raccoons have less than great eyesight. It’s why they are so grabby, and why their hands are so important. Touch is the second way that a raccoon “sees”, the same way that smell works for dogs. Touching things gives them whole bunch more information than what their eyes can tell them.

Please be careful who you tell about this gorgeous baby. We had an albino deer at a local park. He was used to people making a fuss over him. Until Some asshole shot it point blank! Was just awful.

bless her heart!! pretty sure she is clumsy and grabby bc of her eyesight; albinism is known to severely diminish it, or even cause blindness...she is awfully precious ❤️

We had an albino raccoon born in our attic. I watched it grow up, and then saw it around the neighborhood for several years. I was so happy it made it.
