Was on a jury like this. Two jurors said their fathers were alcoholics and regularly misremembered things, which they said made them doubt whether the drunk woman accurately remembered. They didn’t doubt she believed what she was saying, only that her memory was correct. (I thought it was clear he’d done it, and the prosecutor told me later it was part of a regular pattern by this guy - only SAing women who were extremely intoxicated)

Seeing all of this makes my heart hurt. I went through this as a child and all it took was one person on the legal side to not believe me and the chargers were dropped. I was 9 and he was 17. It still makes me so angry to this day.
