I work for mountain lakes police as records clerk and we get residents calling for various cars stopping and it’s because there has been some cars stolen but they call the pd when someone leaves their trunk open too

This reminds me when I was dropping off my coworker at home in East Hanover around 2am after both of us were working at a party venue and the cop followed me all the way to drop him off home and out of the town🙃

Happened to me once. You can’t be colored and be parked at the same time in Nj apparently. Years ago I went to a mutual friends house to hang out and he told me his driveway was full so park down the road till someone like his sister moved and while sitting infront of a random house they called the cops on me.

I have had someone call the police on me sitting at the end of my own driveway in the car too late … no one wants a parked car outside their house at night no matter what. the world is dangerous. I was literally in my own driveway and was questioned

the officer should have said something like why you’re in someone’s property? But why you’re in East Hanover sounds like the guy is not allowed in town,. East Hanover has a lot of restaurants and other commercial buildings, if this person is in front of my house I’d call the cops as well .
