@crimechronicles911: 67-year-old Albert Peña disappeared from Mountainair, New Mexico, after going out to a local bar in late December 2025. Investigators began following a disturbing trail of evidence—including Albert’s abandoned SUV, blood evidence, and eventually a secluded property with an underground bunker. Their investigation began pointing toward Moises Lopez and others who had reportedly been with or connected to Albert around the time he disappeared. But more than 100 miles away, an Otero County deputy made what initially appeared to be an unrelated traffic stop. Inside the vehicle were Moises Lopez, Jaylene Lewark, Cady Landrum, and Manuel Lopez—the same group investigators were beginning to connect to Albert’s disappearance. That traffic stop became a major break in the investigation. Authorities later searched near High Rolls, New Mexico, where Albert’s body was discovered.
