@hrnaeatz: Italian Penicillin is Sopa Szn Ep 18: the Italian nonna’s swear that this will cure all so it’s perfect for this time of year when everyone is getting sick 🤧🥣 - 1/2 a sweet onion (rough chop) - 3-4 carrots (rough chopped) - 3 celery sticks - 10-11 garlic cloves - 8 c chicken bone broth - 1-2 sprigs thyme - 2 bay leaves - chunk of parmesan - 1 tsp pepper - 2 tsp chicken bouillon - 2 tsp salt - 1/2 tsp turmeric - 1 small slice ginger (peeled) - 1 lemon (juiced) - 7oz pastina (any little pasta will work) Meatballs: - 1lb ground beef - 2 tsp salt - 1 tsp pepper - 1/2 c Italian breadcrumbs - 1 egg Tips: - You’re gonna simmer your veggies covered over med low heat in the broth until everything is nice & tender - Form your meatballs and set them in fridge to set while the broth is ready - Once everything is soft add your aromatics/veg into blender with 2 cups of the broth (remove bay leaves) and blend until smooth - Add it back in with lemon juice & meatballs let that simmer for 10-15 mins till meatballs are done - After meatballs are done adjust anything to taste - Cook your pasta separately #sopaszn #soup #fallrecipes
