I love the direction you’re heading! Incorporating more color is something I’m working on as well. The big question I’m asking myself is do I want the color in the more permanent pieces (couch and rug) or do I want to add it in with pieces I can easily swap out when I’m itching for a change (seems to happen seasonally for me).

Do u use the fireplace? I’d flip the room and float the couch gallery wall around mounted tv, bring eyes up so space feels bigger, curtains could be mounted higher too to make space feel bigger :) use the tall ceilings to ur advantage. Just some thoughts to think about ;)

For a wall that size I would go with as big a piece as you can get your hands on and a large tapestry with the right colors (depending on your couch choice) might be perfect back there!

Frame tv is so worth it, the TCL art tv is a good dupe

I got a chocolatey brown couch just like you are looking for at the crate & barrel outlet in Seal Beach, it’s hit or miss but I would check it out!
