Here we are. Full circle. And the last time I’m on this topic. Idea is from seeing @jacked_ripper post yesterday tho. Practical application. I been sayin it. The people that laughed at me for it are highly likely unemployed and/or never coached anybody that actually has life to deal with. So much of what people have been arguing applies to 1%.. if that.. then the argument is still useless bc the lack of differences - Ever coached a single mom with 2 kids and 2 jobs? How do you “maximize” her program? Ever coached a business owner or actor/actress? Ask them how long they can be in the gym. I know majority of people I dealt with that owned businesses and had family couldn’t be in the gym longer than an hour. Coached a doctor? Pharmacist? Ask me how long most of these people can even be in the gym.. - This is real life. Everyone isn’t unemployed. Why would you add hours onto someone’s program for a strand of hair? That’s not maximizing. - Half the “fiber-specific” arguments can easily be settled with progressive overload considering there’s little to no difference in most of what people are arguing about right now, and most are newer lifters too… barely able to recruit motor units. - I can’t think of a single person I have programmed with more than 18 total sets in a session. And now we done come as far to say “16-18 is not enough”. Too many regurgitating final bosses. - It’s cool to do what you want to do. I have no issue with that. My issue comes with how all this has been communicated. Glad some people have moved on from it tho. Just another fad/ something to cling to #fyp #fypシ #GymTok #Fitness #bodybuilding #gym
