Sometimes I check my husband’s location during the day and he’s on the neighbors garage or on top of the other neighbors dumpster 🤷🏻♀️.

![Ever been struck dumb by water? There’s a peculiar sort of honesty in the way Capra Waterfall hurls itself down a mountain, unrestrained, with a madman’s laughter echoing off the mossy stone. The world sells us peace and postcards—this place gives you chaos, a spectacle worthy of the old gods, with spray stinging your eyes and heart in equal measure. Here, in the green cathedral of the Carpathians, you remember that nature isn’t always kind or gentle. Sometimes she’s a wild-eyed lover, smashing glass and whispering impossible promises between the thunder of falling water. Forget the sterile, airbrushed landscapes of travel magazines. Capra’s beauty is serrated, ragged, refusing to pose for anyone’s approval. The waterfall gnaws at the mountain’s jaw like an animal with a grudge, baring its white teeth in a thousand shattered rivulets. Mist clings to your skin, tasting faintly of cold iron and forgotten snowmelt; the air is ripe with the scent of crushed pine needles, as if the forest itself has exhaled in your direction. Every step along the riverbank feels like trespassing in someone else’s fever dream, the roar drowning out your anxieties, leaving you with nothing but raw presence and the shivering animal in your chest. What does beauty owe you, anyway? Is it comfort, or is it something untamed that sets your blood thrumming, your thoughts tumbling over themselves in search of old words? Why do we keep chasing waterfalls—knowing full well they never stay the same? When was the last time you let yourself be knocked senseless by wonder, standing small and honest in the crosshairs of something magnificent? Would you dare to get close enough to let the wildness soak you?
