@kevinmccarthytv: This is exactly why I started my podcast. I left DC and moved to Los Angeles to start a filmmaking and craft podcast. To have two brilliant artists express this to me, means more than I can put in words. And this was at the end of an hour long podcast conversation. We were well over our time yet Tom Cruise and Alejandro G. Iñárritu used these remaining minutes to say these incredibly kind words. This is a show I’ve built from the ground up and, at the end of the day, all I want is for audiences to feel more connected to the artists who bring stories to the screen. I always say DVD features were my film school and that’s the hope of this show; to bring insight into the craft and filmmaking decisions that immerse us in the viewing experiences. Part 1 of our hour long conversation is available now wherever you get your podcasts. This part is completely spoiler-free. Link to Spotify in my bio. Part 2 will be released next week and that conversation gets even more geeky in the best way. Digger is now playing in theaters. If you live in LA, try to see it at Grove in the 35mm VistaVision format. #tomcruise #alejandrogonzaleziñarritu #digger #filmmaking #cinema

Biff :

I’m nowhere near Kevin’s level of love for film but I do enjoy the observations you make and the really interesting questions you ask these people making films. It tells us a lot more about their vision and gives us a better understanding. No one else does what you do!

SHUMPULP :

Kevin has earned every bit of success he’s had. Truly a passionate and knowledgeable film geek and obviously just a good human being.

I’m fascinated by Tom Cruise, even though he’s an incredible movie star some of the projects that you chooses are like Indie art house movies, this is the first time in a long time. I want to see a movie of his as an actor, cause I know it’s gonna be an incredible performance.

One reason that makes yours better than others, is that you let the people speak. No interruptions or inane noises. Letting us hear the people we want to hear. 🙌🙌

As someone who has known Kevin since he was barely out of high school, I am so very proud of him, but not surprised. He has always been heading to this very point.
