@fox4newsdallasfortworth: Security video shows the moment a group of students quickly intervened to stop their moving school bus after the driver suffered a medical episode. The footage of the incident, which happened in mid-September, shows students stepping off during a stop before one student tries to exit but realizes the bus has started moving again. “Uh, can I get off?” the student asks the bus driver, who does not respond. Several students, realizing something is wrong, spring into action and move toward the driver, as others shout “Shut the brakes!” A student then reaches for the brake and pulls it, bringing the bus to a complete stop. The video ends with a student speaking into the radio: “Our bus driver passed out.” The Hollidaysburg Area School District later praised 10th grader Alexis Smith for preventing a potential catastrophe. “Alexis took immediate action, safely bringing the bus to a stop, using the radio to call for emergency help, and assessing the driver’s pulse and respiration until medical responders arrived,” the district said. “Thank you for your heroism, Alexis!” According to local reports, the driver had recovered and returned to his regular route before the end of the month.

Some people in life are never aware even when looking at something taking place, then there are some that are aware but are afraid and just gasp as events takes place, but even though in the midst of chaos, there are some that once aware not a shred of fear, nor indecisiveness, can hold them back from springing into action. may the creator bless and show grace upon your spirit if you are that ONE.
