Just look at all the popular gyms out there, they’re successful for a reason. They have everything a lifter wants without that whole commercial gym feel to it. I’m talking about Alphaland, Absolute Recomp, Fusion Gyms, The Lab in San Ramon, etc. They have some of the best equipment, great environments and atmospheres, and pretty much everything you need. I think that’s what this area lacks the most. You don’t really see any big gyms around here with S-tier equipment and that type of atmosphere. I feel like if someone opened something like that around here, it would do really well.

💯 and the gyms here are dirty af! Clean saunas are needed! What’s missing is cleanliness 🤣 I think what u got in mind would be perfect! Just gotta be clean! I say charge more for cleaner gym!

Preach. I lived in SoCal and went to a private gym. Here you can’t find anything like that. My partner and I looked into creating a gym and the costs just to open something that is a decent size is insane in the Bay Area. No wonder why larger gyms feel the need to charge $200+/month. So we had to scratch that business plan. We’d be open to help invest if ur business model makes sense - lmk! We’ll put money to what we believe in ❤️.

Posing rooms! Private ones you can reserve a 15 min spot for, sauna / steam room connected to the locker room and amenities for recovery , a mirrored room with weights that’s not the weight room, full lower body machine options and regular equipment

CLEANLINESS . And repair machines immediately when they’re broken. Layout is impt. No one wants a glute machine in front of someone doing arms. Safety and accountability for behavior. Social/community guidelines posted. Dance room with floor yoga ceiling mirrors.

A big ass floor with multiples of each machine, and like 10 rack/platforms. You know, like they have in other high population density areas. Also, panata or Atlantis machines
